Firefly Charity Run
In a month’s time four gallant Firefly Studios developers will run the London 10K, raising money for gaming charity SpecialEffect.
In an attempt to top the ridiculousness of past years’ fancy dress efforts (above), this year the team are running the 10k in Power Rangers costumes! Tom, Andreas, Anthony and Nick plan to complete the run in record time on 12th July 2015. Even better, once they reach the mid-point of Firefly’s fundraising goal of £1,000, Tom and Nick will commit to run dressed as (incredibly butch) versions of the Pink and Yellow Rangers!
The race will take its runners past iconic sights such as Big Ben, The London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral, Trafalgar Square and Westminster Abbey. All money raised will go to SpecialEffect and their ongoing mission to improve the quality of life for gamers living with disabilities, work that is best described in their touching videos.
