Role Description

Looking to kick-start your career in the games industry? Join us at Firefly!

We are seeking a bright graduate, school-leaver or junior marketer to assist the marketing team on a daily basis, handling a diverse set of responsibilities including PR, copywriting, event management, planning and assisting in content creation.

Working as part of a small, nimble marketing team you will assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across various products in Firefly Studios’ catalogue of games.

You will learn and develop skills associated with front line PR, comms and marketing activity. These will include composing copy and messaging, writing and distributing press releases, pitching influencers and managing these relationships.

Reporting directly to and working closely with the Marketing Director, as well as the rest of the marketing team at Firefly, it will be your responsibility to foster and grow press relations, pitching interviews, features, previews and reviews of upcoming titles. You’ll also assist the Marketing Director in planning sales, email marketing, asset creation, coverage reports and more.

This role is ideal for someone keen to learn about marketing in the games industry, with a willingness to work independently on a variety of tasks that fall under the umbrella of marketing and PR. Your ultimate goal will be to refine and improve processes that drive KPIs such as wishlists, purchases and active users, but also to suggest and spearhead initiatives of your own to help promote our games.

While this is a junior position and will be treated as such in terms of training and expectations, our successful candidate will be self-driven and expected to manage assigned tasks through to completion independently.
